Depending on how you are personalizing your
apparel, the specifications for your files are a little different.
Screen Printing
Embroidery
The best artwork for screen printing is done in
vector format, which is the format that is created using Adobe
Illustrator. Remember to always change your text to outlines before sending the
file.
If using Adobe Photoshop, do not merge
layers - and please send the font files that you used in the design.
Other file formats can be acceptable
depending on the design, as long as the artwork is at least 300dpi.
Artwork from the internet is 72dpi which is not a printable resolution.
When embroidering, as
long as your image is at 300 dpi, and/or the correct size, any of
these popular file formats are acceptable.

Imprint
locations:
Front & Back - the maximum size for screen printing
on the front and back of a t-shirt is 10" x 13".
Left Chest -
the standard imprint area for left chest is 3" x 3", but you are not
locked into that size by no means.
Sleeves and
other locations vary by each style apparel, and sometimes by each
apparel manufacturer.
If you are just
embroidering text on your shirt, we have many fonts that are
available. If you want fonts other than these, please send us your
text in that font in one of the file formats above.
When adding
embroidery personalization (names) to your apparel, you will need to
provide us with us with an Excel or MS Word document with the names
and corresponding sizes of the each recipient. Embroidery
personalization is an additional charge for each name.
Remember, each
location and each color requires a screen for imprint, thus inquiring a
screen charge for each (usually
ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 per imprint color, depending on the
product and imprinter).
Remember, each logo or
imprint area requires an embroidery tape, thus inquiring a one time
tape charge for each design (usually
ranges from $30.00 to $150.00 per design, depending on the design
complexity).Provided you do not modify the tape in any way, you should not
incur this charge again.
